You can attend our final event of 2023 for free!

Our last event of the year is rapidly approaching, with less than two weeks to go until the 2023 Marketing Engagement Summit. Taking place in conjunction with our annual Sales Engagement Summit, this event will be held at The Brewery in London on December 6th. We anticipate over 500 marketing and sales professionals on the day, eager to network and hear from industry leaders such as American Express, Aon, Cushman & Wakefield, EY, Financial Times, Finastra, Know-It, Sage, Spotify, Thomas International, VMWare, and others.

The two summits will converge at the start of the day, with the British tech journalist and TV presenter Liam Chivers delivering a presentation on the rapid progression of digital trends. As the manager of some of the biggest influencer names in the world (including KSI), Liam Chivers is responsible for billions of video views and millions of social media followers.

Known as a leading authority in social marketing, Liam is in demand on a range of platforms, including BBC’s ‘Celebrity: A 21st Century Story’. Considering the ever-increasing power and influence of digital creators, Liam’s session is not to be missed.

The Marketing Engagement Summit will leave no stone unturned when addressing today’s challenges and opportunities. More specifically, our speakers will explore a variety of topics, from the importance of account-based marketing and personalisation to Artificial Intelligence, technology, and the future of marketing. Furthermore, they will share how they are using data and analytics, transforming lead generation, and aligning strategies across channels to ensure a consistent customer experience.

Artificial Intelligence is undoubtedly the hottest topic of 2023, preoccupying the minds of all marketers over the past 12 months. On December 6th, those interested in learning more about this technology can hear how the Global MarTech team at Sage revolutionised its content creation by ‘unleashing the power of AI’.

Jennifer Smith, Senior Director Global Marketing Technology and Demand Operations at Sage, will reveal how the company conducted an AI content generation pilot over 10 weeks with 5 times. The outcome of this pilot? Significant time savings and improved quality.

In addition to uncovering examples of best practices, attendees will also have the opportunity to sit in on a number of exclusive fireside chats with industry experts. One such expert will be Joanna Edwards, Marketing and Communications Director at Financial Times.

In an interview with our event chair Martin Hill Wilson, Joanna will talk about driving marketing effectiveness for FT Specialist and reveal how they completely evolved their data strategy. Delving deeper, she will discuss how FT Specialist started with lots of pools of data stored in various places to now having a single customer view for each brand.

Converging again for the final few sessions of the day, the attendees of the two summits can explore how to effectively align their teams to drive growth. That is, they can hear from Edurne Rodríguez, Head of Sales Training & Enablement at Spotify, who will talk about the work they are doing to align their marketing and sales initiatives for commercial success.

Following Edurne’s fireside chat, the event will close with a 30-minute panel discussion on the alignment of marketing and sales efforts. The panellists taking the stage will be:

  • Gillian Fitzgerald, Director, Brand & Integrated Go to Market, EMEIA, EY
  • Phil Hobden, Head of Strategy and Growth, Know-It
  • David Keene, Chief Marketing Officer, Wipro

Together, they will share how embracing shared values can drive lead generation, cultivate customer satisfaction and achieve long-term success.
